What to Expect in a Tango BioKinetics™ Session

Each session begins with targeted movement preparation to improve joint mobility, activate key muscle groups, and prepare your body for efficient movement.

You will then work through a personalized sequence of exercises integrating Tango movement, biomechanics, functional anatomy, and somatic training to improve how your body moves both on and off the dance floor.

Assessment, Posture & Alignment
Each session begins with movement assessment to identify postural patterns, movement habits, limitations, and opportunities for improvement. Standing exercises then help refine postural organization, axis alignment, stability, and body awareness.

Balance, Coordination & Core Control
Through weight transfers, walking mechanics, pivots, footwork drills, and focused core strengthening, you develop stronger balance, coordination, movement control, and a more stable, responsive center.

Axis Alignment & Control
A core principle of Tango BioKinetics™ is developing a reliable yet adaptable vertical axis. Through targeted movement training, you improve grounding, alignment, dynamic stability, weight transfer efficiency, and the ability to organize movement with greater precision and confidence.

Tango-Based Mobility & Movement Efficiency
Dynamic Tango-inspired movements such as ochos, boleos, turns, and dissociation exercises improve mobility, flexibility, coordination, strength, movement efficiency, and technical precision.
