This summer experience a Taste of Tango.
The NYC Parks department will allow us to continue the event through September. However they will not be able to cover our September expenses.
We dont accept contributions at the park. DONATE HERE
Make friends or dance with a new partner while enjoying live tango music, stories, and classes. Strictly Tango NYC Dance School brings the “authentic Buenos Aires Tango feeling” several times a week!
This event is FREE and open to the public. Space is limited. First come, first served.
When and where?
1- Tango at Washington Square
Tuesdays in Spetember 6th, 13th and 20th from 6-8pm
Live music and performances on 9/20th

Why Tango? It’s a great way to meet people! Tango is at its core is a highly social dance. Whether you’re making new friends in class, or dancing with a new partner for the first time, tango is guaranteed to widen your circle of friends. Tango dancers attend milongas, (social dances), held weekly around the city and are a great a way to mingle and show off your moves in a friendly environment.
In partnership with Strictly Tango a premier authentic Argentine Tango school at 500 8th Avenue. The school is dedicated to authentic Argentine Tango with renowned teachers like Sergio Segura; show producer, choreographer, dance researcher and creator of the “Learn Argentine Tango System.” Visit their website to learn more www.learnargentinetango.com
