This Valentine’s Day, try Tango Dancing in NYC

No matter what stage your relationship is in, Valentine’s Day can cause much anxiety. There is a lot of pressure to do something spectacular if you want to impress your significant other. Most people usually end up going for the cliché roses and chocolates just to say that we did something or blame our lack of spectacular on the fact that it’s just a made up holiday. And, yes, it is a made up holiday, but it was made up for a reason. It was made up to remind everyone that love and connection with another human being is really amazing and worth celebrating.

Speaking of connecting with people, Strictly Tango NYC is offering a great way to do that through dance. If it’s your first date, this will be a great opportunity for you to get to know your date by stumbling through the moves together. If you have been a coupe for years, and you are ready to reconnect with the person who sits next to you on the couch every night, taking a Tango class is the perfect way to break the monotony and celebrate your love.

A special “Taste of Tango” introductory class will be given by Strictly Tango NYC’s Maestro and tango show producer Sergio Segura.  Later in the evening, experience the fun side of tango not found anywhere else with tango games, stage tango poses, tango line dancing, and tango demonstrations. Special performances will be given by instructors and students of the school to illuminate the drama of tango at a performance level.
